Small batches only: muslin from Andhra, kalamkari hand-stamped in natural dye, Pattu silk from looms that have run in the same families for generations. If a run of indigo comes back uneven, it never reaches the floor.

The things people write to us about, answered here first.

How long until it reaches me?
Two to seven working days anywhere in India, and seven to ten to the rest of the world. We tell you the day it leaves Palamaner and send the tracking with it. Where your country charges duty, it is paid on delivery and is not included in the price.
Can I see a piece properly before I buy it?
Yes, and we would rather you did. Ask and we will show you the actual piece on a video call, in daylight, at whatever magnification you like, and tell you plainly what you are looking at, including anything we would want to know if we were the ones buying. We will measure it and tell you how it falls. Every sale here is final, so this is the part that matters: the whole policy is here, and we would sooner talk you out of a piece than sell you the wrong one.
Is there more than what I can see here?
Yes, always. What is on the site is what is ready to post today. There is more on the shelf being photographed, more on the loom, and more we can put our hands on within a week. Tell us the colour, the occasion, or the piece you missed, and we will usually know what is coming.
Can I ask for something made for me?
Yes. Tell us the colour, the border, the length and what you will wear it to, and we will take it to the weaver and come back with what is possible, what it costs and how long it takes. A run on a handloom is not quick, so ask earlier than you think you need to.
Can I have something nobody else will have?
Yes, and more easily than you would expect. Almost everything here is already one of one: a dye lot runs out, a weaver moves on, and the piece is finished. If you want that on purpose, say so and we will keep a design to a single length and not put it on the site at all.
